The founders of Eng-Spire, Andrew and Steve, built a relationship prior to University and decided early on that their individual success and wellbeing could be amplified by working together. Through their university education, they relied on and supported each other. Aligning their class schedules and teaming up on major projects, Andrew and Steve found that their interests and passions were shared. After graduating from university, Andrew and Steve went on to work for Stantec Consulting where they relied on each other to deliver increasingly complex jobs. Steve and Andrew grew the Stantec structural group to 20+ employees and lead the team on a variety of projects totaling over $2 billion worth of construction cost including leading projects such as the Edmonton Tower, Stantec Tower, Calgary Cancer Center, Winspear, and a multitude of Alberta school projects.

Andrew and Steve’s passion for creating their own vehicle for change and impact grew to the point where their excitement for starting their own firm could no longer be contained. Andrew and Steve’s ultimate goal is to use the knowledge and skills of their engineering and business backgrounds to provide massive value to the engineering industry, the community at large, and the teams they belong to.
